The Lost Gardens of Heligan - The award winning Lost Gardens of Heligan extend to some eighty acres of superb pleasure grounds being returned to its former glory.
Cycling - Cycle hire is available in Padstow, Bodmin and Wadebridge. These three locations make up the famous "Camel Trial" (only cycling and walking are allowed on the trail).
Walking - The North Cornwall Coastal Path has stunning walks with the Bedruthen Steps and the wonderfull beaches in and around Padstow. There are also designated paths in and around St. Merryn itself.
Scuba Diving Have you ever dived North Cornwall? It has excellent viz, some of the UK's best wrecks, good scenic diving, abundant marine life, diving suitable for beginners through to technical divers and there are no over crowded dive sites.
Surfing - The Cornish coast boasts some of the best surfing beaches in Europe - Newquay's Fistral beach, Watergate Bay, Constantine Bay, Harlyn Bay, are all in an easy travelling distance from here.

Beaches - There are "Seven Bays for Seven Days". Glorious sandy beaches with sand dunes, rockpools and caves.
Coasteering & Outdoor Activities - Coasteering is a new developing sport that involves swimming, climbing and jumping along a section of coast line.
Fifteen Cornwall - Jamie Oliver's Restaurant is set in a stunning Location and is only a short drive along the coast road from the St Merryn Holiday Village.
Rick Stein - There are four restaurants in Padstow to try Rick Stein's food, each offering its own atmosphere and individual menu.
Golfing - Nearby is an 18 hole champion links course. There are also a 9-hole full size course, and a 9-hole short course. Another full 18 hole course called Merlin Golf Club is a short drive away.
Restaurants - Probably the most famous one is Rick Steins Seafood Restaurant in Padstow. There are also loads more good quality restaurants and places to eat out. Locally, St Merryn has two seafood restaurants.
Fishing - There are many local fishing companies that will provide bait, tackle and other equipment. They also arrange escorted fishing trips to the best spots. There are plenty of places you can fish such as the beach, rocks and from boats.
Cornish Birds Of Prey - Just a short drive from St Merryn is this Centre with over 50 birds of prey for you to see, many of which take part in regular flying displays and participate in 'hands-on' experiences.
Shires Family Adventure Park - Now known as Cornwall's Crealy Adventure Park, five major attractions in one. Magnificent Shire Horses and other animals. World Of Adventure, Toddler Town, Megaslide and Safari Train, Dragon's Leap and Ollie Octopus.
Wild West Theme Park - Step back in time and re-live the wild days of the American West of the 1800's. See live action shows, ride a real Cowpony, visit the Museums, talk with authentic dressed characters who bring history alive.
Go-Karting - is available a short drive away at St Eval.
Ten Pin Bowling - also at St Eval.
